York College presents an annual Psychology Prize to an outstanding student.

The college Psychology Department honoured the memory of Caroline Stuttle as she had a passion for Psychology and excelled in the subject. The prize is to help and motivate students who are committed to Psychology and would like to pursue a degree in the subject. Established in 2002

A Level Psychology student Samantha Keenaghan has been awarded the Caroline’s Rainbow Foundation Psychology prize at York College this year.  The prize is presented each year in memory of former College student, Caroline Stuttle, who was murdered during her gap year in Australia (2002).  Caroline’s mother Marjorie Marks-Stuttle presented 18-year-old Samantha with a certificate and a token.

A Level psychology student Holly Coates-McDowall has been awarded the Caroline’s Rainbow Foundation Psychology prize at York College this year.  The prize is presented each year in memory of former College student, Caroline Stuttle. Caroline’s mother Marjorie Marks-Stuttle presented 18-year-old Holly with a certificate and a book token.

Psychology Prize 2012

Olga Loza, an international student at York College, has been awarded the Caroline’s Rainbow Foundation Psychology prize this year. Olga is Latvian and lives in Ukraine. She came to York College two years ago to study an astounding six A Level subjects: Psychology, English Literature, French, Spanish, Maths and Further Maths, and has been offered a place to study a psychology degree at St Andrews University.
